Coworkers are having a goofy friday in slack, and it's great that we have that vibe. usually. the cognitive dissonance is too strong this week.

oh look, today is a good day to drink tea and cry on the couch while wrapped in a blanket. .... while trying to work.

It's a beautiful day and a terrifying day, and I am so lucky to get to go spend time with my coworking group and not have to pretend that everything is ok.

This week: someone at work told me that I gave them a big morale boost when they felt really alone, and after my conference talk someone told me they felt ok to try machine learning despite being told in the past "you don't know enough." Also I didn't actually anxiety puke.
