Banking while Trans

Me: receives check in birth name after a friend w a higher voice impersonates me to financial co. to extract my money

Me, remote depositing check: "no problem! Ive deposited these sorts of things before. After all, I had to change my name with the bank, they know all about it"

Bank, emails me using my birth name in the salutation: "we can't accept this 3rd party signature on that check you deposited"
