OK, I'm starting to get a bit more used to the cutesy way "Hiveswap" feeds you clues to what sequence of actions you're supposed to employ in a fight (er, STRIFE!) But it's still a bit of an annoyance in a game that otherwise I'm liking a lot.

It's been a while since I've done a point-and-click adventure, so this is a charming way to get back into the genre. there's tons of flavor to reward exploration, there's texture everywhere...the game _looks_ great

interaction's a bit awkward

also, genuinely naïve question here: what age range is this material supposed to be pitched at? the writing has the feel of a very well-written children's program, like a really good season of Super Sentai—characterization in broad strokes, sharply defined moral conflicts, but full of personal moments and glimpsed depths. It's good, I eat this sort of thing up, but it feels distinctly...juvenile.

@kara this seems right to me. the growing up is a thing that happens after/during. it starts juvenile
