When I was younger, I'd often stay up late into the night to devour whole books. I still do read whole books in a day, but short non-fiction ones picked up early in the evening. Tonight I had a medium-length novel that I took to bed a few hours ago, thinking that perhaps I'd read a chapter or three before falling asleep. Apparently I was hungrier for fiction than expected, and got 2/3 of the way through...

...and my Kobo died. Now it's almost 2:30 am and I'm wide awake and left hanging.
