@ansate yeah. i think in general ai/ml practitioners wildly underestimate how important it is for students to be able to easily run all this stuff quickly and conveniently on potentially crappy laptops. it's the no. 1 reason i haven't incorporated this material in my arts curricula. and cloud solutions have real barriers in cost, convenience and access
