here's some real for you whippersnappers, from when vector display on CRT was chosen over Nixie tubes for power efficiency: the Friden EC-130, designed by Bob Ragen and the first calculator to use reverse Polish notation. Sold for 2200 USD back in June of 1963, with a thirteen-digit capacity. The boundaries of computing would be pushed two years later by its successor, the EC-132, which added a square root function to its bag of tricks.

Meet the pirate queen making academic papers free online - The Verge

> Sci-Hub provided press, academics, activists, and even publishers with an excuse to talk about who owns academic research online. But that conversation — at least in English — took place largely without Elbakyan, the person who started Sci-Hub in the first place. Headlines reduced her to a female Aaron Swartz, ignoring the significant differences between the two. Now, even though Elbakyan stands at the center of an argument about how copyright is enforced on the internet, most people have no idea who she is.

Thinking about going to see a doctor about my cough, but worried about gender-- it's hard to please cis people with the gently lilting yet husky tones of a presentation-appropriate vocal range when my throat is so fscked up

Last twert: I'm also looking at alternative playlist making/sharing sites, so any recommendations there would be appreciated too~

I want to use because of network effects and because it doesn't region-lock and delete songs the way youtube does, but I have yet to find a GPL client that works. Any advice, ? I went so far as to do even look more like:
- pasta
- tomahawk
- clementine

so far pasta crashes, tomahawk has a blob and crashes, and clementine has a blob and works but is desktop only and won't let me, like, rearrange playlist tracks.
