It is pretty funny that around 2015 a lot of fan art on Pokémon variation was going around, and about a year later Pokémon Sun and Moon were released introducing Alola forms which are variants unique to Alola, and the explination for the variations were adaptation to Alola's unique environment, it is like gamefreak looked at the fan art and was "holy shit, briliant"

"Socialism" is such a vague and nebulous term that can mean absolutely anything from like, New Deal-esque Keynesian Capitalism (yes it does get used this way) all the way to the USSR and Anarchist Spain.
Anyone who says with confidence that "actually, Socialism is [one thing that excludes lots of other things]" is just giving their own interpretation of what it is and doesn't actually know what they're talking about. It's also why just calling you yourself a Socialist means absolutely nothing.
