@DensetsuNoGomez i figured you'd like that one
here is a september 2003 Newtype USA article looking back at the sailor moon TV anime
this was only like six years after the show stopped airing; now it's 20 and we are old too
upon reflection this may be my strongest lifehack ever
my precious gift to you
i've had 6+ unopened pairs of panties in my undies drawer for well over a year and i've just been opening them up this week rather than doing laundry
lifehack y'all
There’s no way for me to express the joy in seeing people mending their belongings in lieu of buying more things
I wish this is more of the holiday spirit. Not a large, bearded, weirdo who sneaks in through the chimney. But families full of makers and kid DIYers, building things, fixing things, enjoying their own creativity
This article about the last of the polio survivors who still use iron lungs is a powerful look at history, and a strong case for vaccination and herd immunity. https://gizmodo.com/the-last-of-the-iron-lungs-1819079169
The sun is coming down to earth, and the fields and the waters shout to him golden shouts.
Hey look at this really good picture of Ryuichi Sakamoto

while i like to maintain a certain level of cleanliness i've always been the type of nerd who's mostly ignored my physical environment, so long as it met my basic functional requirements. never much for decorating or the like
something i want to work on imo. nothing that goes too against my preferred minimalism but there is certainly a modest middle ground to discover that could be beneficial to my sense of well-being
i want more pretty things in my everyday environment. hence the $2 light-cycling plastic christmas tree from grocery outlet, shopping for some nice LED ropes, and more to come as inspired / necessary
also: want to pay more attention to having nice smells to experience on the regular. (suggestions welcome. i dislike cloying chemical scents like found in commercial "air fresheners" and other products)
maybe the double dragon is what you see when you stare too long into the abyss
[huge spit take] what do you mean it's not "cider monday"
seriously this smooth cursor animation in Word makes it so pleasant to see words appearing on screen
now if only coming up with them was easier
do we have queer spaces that aren't sexualized yet it's 2017
successfully hemmed and hawwed on a cyber monday phone purchase until it went safely out of stock
+1 for team kinda-need-a-new-phone-but-this-2013-piece-of-crap-still-technically-works-so-let's-see-how-much-longer-we-can-ride-this-thing-into-the-ground

popping back in to note that i was not hallucinating, Word 2016 is very nicely animated on this install. what cemented it is that when i type the cursor moves fluidly to the right. it's pleasant.
never seen that before. maybe it was because i had all animations disabled last W10 install.
