forgot, i did play the DS one some. didn't seem fun anymore though (probably me as much as the game)
The Wii versions of MK have always felt weird, and worse than other versions to me, feeling very loose and slidey. So I think part of the issue might be that MK8D is basically and enhanced port of the Wii U version.
I was really looking forward to getting MK8D, but I've been really disappointed by it (obviously, lol). Past MarioKart on games (on mobile consoles) have ~$30, but pretty much every first party Nintendo game on Switch is $60.
@alyx yeah, definitely. MarioKart DS was almost *perfect*, and MarioKart 7 was very good as well, but the karts in Deluxe feel like you're driving a garbage truck with flat tires on ice while drunk.
