@alyx yea. the ending was good, just felt like a lot of the rest was unnecessary in a way. I get the point of it was for it to be suspenseful "is he a psychopath or not?"
but likeeeee... we saw aliens in the first film. the name of the film literally says Cloverfield. it'd be quite ridiculous if the ending hadn't gone how it did?
so tbh, gimme more badass alien fighting, less hollywood depictions of mental illness as always dangerous
