Steam has a built-in controller config thing now and it works really well! I don't know when they added this. I've been using a 360 controller for ages because fiddling with controller emulators was a pain in the ass. This thing does exactly what it's supposed to.
@matt i actually find it pretty confusing overall, but i am glad they're developing this functionality
i have a steam controller but have barely used it after initial attempts to create game configs resulted in awkwardness
@matt wow, the lack of analog sticks makes it look downright retro. strangely strange.
@alyx Ah yeah, I don't know anything about the Steam controller. I'm using a Hori Pokken controller and the layout is basically just a 360 controller without the sticks, so the buttons map pretty easily.
