i guess i don't play super-hard maps cuz i don't need the BFG for life or death usually. if you aim and angle correctly at point blank you can down a cyberdemon in 2 shots
@alyx huh, interesting. their point about fighting the cyberdemon without the BFG is weird to me. i'd never waste BFG ammo on a single boss fight, to me it's always been a special limited thing you hold onto until you need to clear a room full of enemies. like the bombs in a shmup.
also, i'm agog that all 50+ episodes of this podcast are JUST about doom 1. i had no idea there was that much to say about the game but i love that this sort of passion exists!
