Tempest 2000 is the sole reason I owned a Jag. Also, the only game I had for the Jag.
@RobF @pixelguff @alyx I've been trying to find a good Mac Jaguar emulator, mainly so I can play that game. Though I'm also curious about the Doom port, because I can't imagine it was very good.
@fjthom @Robf @pixelguff jag doom had a plausible framerate, networked multiplayer and most of the original levels without many geometry edits (unlike PS1 Doom)
strangely, it only had music on the intermission screens

@alyx @RobF @pixelguff I've played both of those! The 3DO version was really hampered by the controls- I don't think any console has ever had a stiffer, less responsive D-pad than that one. I'm not sure why I bought the Saturn version since I knew it was going to be "worse PS1 version" (and I already owned the PS1 version)... but I was a Doom completist.
