starting to think vertical tab implementations in FF57+ (not just tree style tab, though it is the worst offender) are just inherently low-performing
the built-in default hori tabs seem much more responsive
@alyx eugh tree style tab was terrible for me.
@LottieVixen it is terrible for me w/ 500 tabs but i hoped it would be better under less ridic loads
@LottieVixen that's still considered a pretty high load fwiw, hehe
for me FF57+'s biggest shortcoming atm is its lack of a powerful / fast / useable way to organize large tab loads
the loss of tab groups hurts, here
@alyx yeah anywhere above 20 tabs I had an issue with...was a pain.
@LottieVixen hopefully as the APIs mature vert tabs will become a legit thing again instead of dodgy sidebar hacks
@alyx I struggled a lot at under 200 even, since disabling it I've had much better performance.
