reading more, this lacks analog output (RGB, component, etc.) which sucks -- because that's the true authentic look of sixth-gen consoles and prior, and makes it compatible with CRTs -- and it's not made of aluminum like the NES clone. so that explains some of the price drop
(i also wonder if youl'l be able to reduce the audio sample rate from 48k to the SNES' native 22.5k; doubt it)
seems like this thing, despite its awesome FPGA, is kinda mainstream and not for folks with exacting A/V standards, so far
