paired with a relatively cheap ~24" 1080p PC monitor known for low input lag; many would fit this bill. you could also easily use the monitor with any PC you might need to.

for ideal future proofness this monitor would also support FreeSync (while this is associated with icky AMD GPUs, it is also an open standard that may see wider use) or G-Sync (proprietary NVidia, adds a lot to the cost unfortunately).
