is there an easy way to browse an instance's public posts without joining the instance?
for example, i would love to see what all the artists on pawoo.net are up to so i can find some to follow
if i knew some tags they use i could do a tag search, but that would still just be a limited subset of the posts over there
@alyx while I think instances and the open web are awesome alternatives to a Twitter-like social network, they make things more complex than you would think.
@ldacampelo i occurred to me that there isn't an easy way to accomplish what i asked on birbsite either; everyone is in one massive unsorted clump
if there is no current way to browse the public posts of a random mastodon server then it would seem easy to add that feature, should they wish
