@alyx what midi synth/soundfont are you using?

@Mephitus in windows i oscillate between BASSMIDI and VirtualMIDISynth depending on which one last crossed me with an unfixable bug. currently using the latter.

soundfonts are most commonly WeedsGM3 and WeedsGM4 Update, together. i'm not much of a connoisseur
