at what point did planners become about goals and vision boards? buying a new planner used to be one of my favorite things to do and now it's stressing me out. I can't even reflect on my accomplishments of the last 21 months, finishing grad school and getting hired at my 1st choice school, before I feel like I'm not doing enough because I should be achieving more and "smashing goals in only 100 days!"
Why yes, I am favoriting your post because I'm too lazy to give a thoughtful reply.
I'm an unpaid intern, but I still went to my job sick, even though I'm not teaching a class today, because I like this place and these people and I feel like I owe it to my students.
I am sick with what I'm assuming is a head cold and I'm feeling sicker by the moment, but I'm also happy because all day yesterday, I was worried that my depression was flaring up. but, nope. just sick!

It's been raining for about 48 hours at this point. It's 9am on a Sunday and I am at Kroger attempting to buy everything I need to make 75 cupcakes in one trip. I put on makeup to try to help me feel more alert and I am in line at the Starbucks. I'm ready, world.
This Bvlgary Omni Coal smells like old lady and I'm going to have to go take another shower because I can't not smell myself.

I've decided I'm going to spend the day writing or something because tomorrow, I have to bake 75 equality themed cupcakes and I think it's going to take all day. 🌈
@margaery Taking care of yourself is always as important as going somewhere to protest.
And if you've never been and are afraid you should not go by yourself anyway. Maybe the next time something like this is happening you can ask a friend to go together. And often there are many different types of protests. So just look around and you might find a gathering that a bit away from the main place were you can still make your voice heard without having to getting into unsafe spaces. Look for gatherings that have a lot of families participating.
And again: prioritizing self-care is nothing to be ashamed of!
