my students wouldn't stop whispering. I told them they should be quiet like meeces (mice). they kept whispering, so I told them quiet like meeces who'd had their mouths removed because they'd never be able to whisper. no, they would have to emote by gazing into each other's eyes, or perhaps could develop their own sign language. I glanced up and the kids closest to me looked horrified. then they told me they hate English, but they like my class. I hope they're learning something. 😭

I have writer's block. Too much has happened. When I write and then read it back, I always say, "So what? No one would get anything out of this. I don't even get anything out of this"

I restored my laptop this morning. My writing is an attempt to do the same with my brain, I suppose.

I'd rather it were art.

@instajelly Ah, thank you! ABC 1 & 2 have both been on my list for some time, but I'm never in the mood for whatever reason. It sounds like I'd want to skip some stuff or I'd be really disappointed (and even upset in some cases).
