recently when people ask me what kind of music i like ive just tried my best to remember the last few bands i listened to and name them. sometimes there are really weird or embarrassing bands but generally i think its more honest than trying to talk about genres or whatever
@agaric yeah i think it's a much more interesting conversation to start with "who are ya listening to" than to ask "what kind of music do ya like" and trying build from those generalizations
@Micro_Colossus definitely! especially because like... who i listen to changes on the day to day. its kind of funny to like recount too and see how varied your taste is
@agaric yeah absolutely!!!! Like, "Well yesterday I was listening to Debussy. Today I was listening to Baths. Tomorrow I may just only be listening to Yung Lean" Lol Way more fun :)
