@KitRedgrave I just trust in the ideals of people, and my ability to interact with them.

It relies a lot on an ability to read others that's depressingly hard to teach, especially to those who have social disabilities, trauma, etc. At some point you're just hurt too deep to trust, because you know what people COULD do.

But I find that a lot of times, assuming that others will be untrustworthy is a bad way to bring out the best in people.

And that's another thing. People, like with anything in the world, are more likely to give more when you give to them. Trust for trust.

Those who disagree with who I am, fade away.

Those who I can truly trust, stay.
