@Ulfra_Wolfe I say this as someone who put their foot down and heavily pushed for my dad to be removed from a ventilator and be allowed to pass because he requested he be on life support no longer than a week if put on it.
It was removed at a week, there was family who didn't get their chance to see him off while 'living'
I honestly don't give a single fuck about any of them, it was his life and thus his wishes were to be respected.
It's a pretty fucking heavy thing to decide in either direction.

@Ulfra_Wolfe I agree that even those who succumb to suicide must be honored, but I feel strongly that such honor must be presented alongside the burden of suffering their departure caused.
Honoring those who kill themselves without at the very least giving lip service to the hurt such an act leaves behind... makes it a bit too easy to take the wrong kind of inspiration from.
