Also, I'm biased: One of my characters is a tiefling that holds close to her heritage in a way that's surprisingly positive.
Also a rabbit 'cause I'm furry (and this is based on a real connection to someone I have, and she's a rabbit)
@MeimuHakurei @Ulfra_Wolfe A tiefling's story is only about them being tieflings if you MAKE it about them being tieflings.
I've played three separate tieflings, and their stories have been about entirely different things. Revenge, loyalty, fun adventure, etc, etc.
You don't have to stick to D&D "canon" unless you want to.
@Ulfra_Wolfe @AnnaLandin The one problem I see with Tieflings is how their stories are always about them being tieflings. Same goes with other typical "evil" races like changelings, orcs and drow. Being small and silly, kobolds and goblins are slightly better off, I feel.
