I'm reading https://magickfromscratch.com/2017/11/13/dear-neophyte-mystic/ and it is amazing (though there's some bits I disagree with) but this made me lol: "Always remember: exactly zero people have died in astral accidents."
*cacklecacklecackle*
"If a deity, to your perception, is being pushy and “won’t take no for an answer,” just swear an oath never to work with that deity. You won’t have to do that with more than one or two deities before you stop having deities push your buttons in that way. Experience speaking, here."
@green And I think that that explains my philosophy on life.
I refuse to be chained. Period.
I don't care how hopeless or useless it is, I refuse.
I don't care the power differential.
I don't care if that puts me in hell.
If being free is to lead to imprisonment, then I will go to prison. It was not me that put myself there, and there are no pangs on my conscience.
@Ulfra_Wolfe *nodnodnodnod* yessssssssss, agreed so much.
@green I suppose I shouldn't say "period".
I make an exception: The chains I put on myself, to those I most admire and respect.
Even then, I reserve the right to break them. But sometimes being chained can be quite pleasant. But it requires trust and love.
