@anthracite I keep trying to pin that dragon pin you gave me at the meetup to my canvas knitting bag, but the backing keeps coming off and getting lost in my bag. Do you have advice about how to keep it fastened?
Part of it's probably that the fabric is so thick (and the thick fabric holds the pin in place after the back falls out), but I have another two-part pin like that with a slightly different design, where the backing kinda locks onto the sharp part, and that hasn't fallen off once.
@brassmerino hah, I had mine on my bag for a while and then one day it was just gone. And I was a little sad. So I have no advice on how to keep your tiny dragon friend!
@anthracite @brassmerino Dragons just seem to go where they please tbh
@Ulfra_Wolfe @anthracite True, but I'm determined not to lose this one.
*notices the roll of gold washi tape in a pile of art supplies* Maybe this will be useful...wait, this probably isn't sticky enough. Why did I buy it again, instead of real tape?
...oh. Because it was shiny.
@brassmerino @Ulfra_Wolfe @anthracite
This dragon pin sounds shiny and hoardable, can I see?
@brassmerino @Metaph @anthracite Oooh, that's so *CUTE*!
@brassmerino @Ulfra_Wolfe @anthracite
Aww too bad it doesn't stay on! I have a couple of pins on my backpack but I don't have any dragon pins yet, which is very sad!
@Metaph @Ulfra_Wolfe @anthracite Do you have any advice for making it stay? I described the problem at the top of this thread (I think it's still this thread)
@brassmerino @Ulfra_Wolfe @anthracite
Unfortunately I don't! The only problem I've really had yet with pins is with my old flight attendant's wings not wanting to come off!
@Ulfra_Wolfe @Metaph @anthracite Isn't it though? It made me want to start putting pins on my knitting bag, and it's the only one that doesn't stay on.
