@GlitchyDragon @kara_dreamer I remember that KOTOR 1 had the Sith basically like, "If you survive, you're worthy, be as ambitious as possible, trust no one."

Yet they congregated as a group to earn standing... among those that would kill them in a heartbeat and that would give them a passing grade? You can even try to befriend others and turn them on others, but like... that doesn't make sense really.

I didn't like that depiction much.
