Just as a reminder: You don't need to transition (as a trans person) to be valid.

@mno @Ulfra_Wolfe I think the important characteristic is that "what is enough" and "what needs to be fixed" has to be up to the person, not some nebulous external set of guidelines. You are trans enough to do what you need to do to be who you are.
@Ulfra_Wolfe not trying to say I disagree, but I would add on that it can also be very powerful to frame transitioning outside of HRT and/or surgery. I view what I've done as a social transition (b/c I've changed how I want people to see my gender, and my name).
I used to fret that I wasn't doing "enough" to transition, that something must be wrong, until I made this realization: that actually I HAVE done a hell of a lot- just socially, not physically :)
