It just occurred to me that at the end of Portal 2 GladOs 100% intended for the turrets in the elevator to kill Chell, and it was the turrets on their own volition who refused.

Like she said she just wanted Chell to leave and I thought she meant it, but maybe she was kind of hoping her last trick would work, and when it didn't then she was like fine.
