Sex != gender

the two aren't connected

sexual attraction goes by gender and not sex when queer people speak of being gay or straight or pan or bi or w/e

things get muddled when you toss enby people into the mix and that's really a value judgement right there if an enby person call themselves "straight" or "gay"

Sex isn't relevant to gender.
Gender is what determines sexual orientation, not sex.
