ghost tentacle @TipsyTentacle

In Seattle, it's consider hot at 67 degrees F. I passed by a coffee shop giving out free samples of their iced mocha and iced tea. It's so weird because I lived in the desert and experienced heat over 100. (v_v)

@TipsyTentacle I miss arizona weather. and geology. and wild life. and stars. and everything but the fucking politics ;-;

@TipsyTentacle Almost 90 here in SJ and I would kill for some Seattle weather right now
I hate the heat

@TipsyTentacle it's 17oC (62) here and no one believes it's anywhere close to being hot.

@geekylou @TipsyTentacle Wh—It is ✨chilly✨ until it's at least 75°F. It isn't :sun:warm:sun: until, like, 87°F or so? And 🔥hot🔥 starts in the 90s F.

Also: HELLOW FROM TEXAS! 😝

@benhamill @TipsyTentacle to be fair we are further north then Montreal and sometimes get temperatures in the 30s.

@geekylou @TipsyTentacle We get below freezing temperatures in Austin. Outside major cities it's more common. In central Texas, we don't have an ocean anchoring our temperature or anything, so it's more variable than SEA. 🤷

@TipsyTentacle Yeah, it's super temperate... Being originally from the Northeast myself, I'm used to it being in the mid-80s °F and super humid this time of year.

All the hype about how it "always rains" in the Pacific Northwest was a load of baloney, too. The thing that regularly happens here that they *call* rain is really cute.
