trying to make a shadowrun character that isn't overwhelming and impossible to play is making me increasingly discouraged. there just really doesn't seem to be a place built for support classes in this system. where's the cleric? the ranger? the bard? the closest things are like... clogged up in overwhelmingly complex rules

@shel Right? The setting is *sooo* compelling but the system is such a pain! I tend to just kitbash it with something simpler, but that's a lot of work too.
