J'étais très triste de le faire car j'ai un réel attachement à WT et sa communauté, j'ai fait beaucoup de rencontres ici qui ont été et sont très enrichissantes pour moi, j'aime pouvoir venir ici et dire "je me sens mal parce que <problème sociétal>" et qu'on me réponde "je te comprends" parce que c'est quelque chose de rare.

the idea that gun control will prevent a popular uprising in the USA is a fantasy.

Historically, most uprisings have been started by people taking guns from military stockpiles, not from their own homes

In addition to this, most gun owners in the United States are not socialists or anarchists, many of them are reactionary or worse.

and to those who say its hypocritical to get gun control while the military still has guns, limiting the total amount of murder machines is still an admirable goal and not worth standing against in the name of whataboutism

I don't care who you are or what you do: you deserve respect as an individual being. You should never have to compromise yourself for another. If you feel so unlovable you have to stick with an abuser, that's just false. Demand respect of your boundaries, of your personhood. Consensual submission is of course fine, but it's still up to you whether you consent or not and you can always say "no" to your dom. Anyone that says otherwise are those who don't respect you.
