I have next to no experience with it, but I'd really like to do a quick digital painting of one of my favorite WoW characters I've made, because I'm a dork.

I've only ever done pencil-y cartoon-y kinds of sketches, so jumping headlong into digital painting would be a trip.

I've started doing my layout sketches at work using my tablet and #krita

Feels good.

Hngghhhh, a thing that sucks is that I have so many conflicting goals wrt fitness.

I want a body like Zarya.

No I want a body like Nero Bellum.

No I want the control over my body like Illan Riviere.

I have this problem with so many things. I wanna do and be everything.

Hm. I am being a self-destructive shit again. I should stop that.

No lie, I am drawn to narcissism for my personal inspiration.

It is not enough that I am good, I must be better than others. Probably an unhealthy coping mechanism, but there it is.

This happened around 4 years ago, and I want to make it absolutely crystal clear that I am only recently coming into being understanding about a lot of issues. I am growing as a person, and that means owning up to my actions in the past. If that means losing friends and followers, I understand.

My reaction to the breakup that immediately ensued after that was childish and uncalled for - essentially, I overcompensated for my actions by flagellating myself in text conversations with this person. We no longer have contact, and I genuinely hope I did not have a terribly profound effect on their mental well-being.

I'm writing this because, while my actions were not as dire and intentional as those of sexual predators and sexual assault, they contributed just as much to a culture that devalues consent, and I want to make up for that fact at least a little bit by opening up and making it clear that no-one is above this.

So I just want to be clear about something and get it off of my chest, reading this whole thing about Aziz Ansari.

I've pressured a partner into sex before. Thank god it didn't get far enough to actually go anywhere, and I'm legitimately ashamed of my actions that day.

What I did was wrong. It was colored by a number of misconceptions I had about sex and intimacy stemming from my own abuse and mental illness, but that's no excuse.
