The thing they never tell you about chronic pain is that it is life zapping. I have a hundred million things I want or need to do, but the vicious cycle of no-sleep=more pain= no sleep makes everything feel like a huge effort. It begins to drag you down. does anyone know of a possible collection of such articles (or links to) that I could use as part of presentation that would clearly show people why joining Mastodon and boycotting the corporate-based social networks is necessary?

it looks i'm on a local advocacy campaign for a local instance again.

My gripe with promoting Mastodon in the #deleteFacebook context is that Mastodon isn't really designed for Facebook's use-cases; it's designed for Twitter's use-cases (and to some extent Instagram's?).

Over at Aardwolf, we're trying to design something for Facebook's use-cases, but it's really slow going, and I'm frustrated at not having anything to show while Facebook melts down.
