Legitimately, I haven't experienced a more relatable song.
The downside of Clarke's Third Law ("Any sufficiently advanced technology is indistinguishable from magic.") is that to a layperson, a lot of skilled tasks are "sufficiently advanced technology". Many people treat skilled work like it's waving a wand and casting a spell instead of, you know, work, and so they value the time and skill involved less.

I don't know how a person can use a WYSIWYG editor for every fucking site they work on.
Devs, listen to what people are telling you. They are telling you what you need.
Yes, some of them are annoying, complainy and aggravating, but your brilliant idea is useless if people don't use it.
There are so many conversations about social media alternatives at the moment and there is a real opportunity to gain a completely new audience.
But you gotta listen. You gotta engage with folks. Coding is the easy part.
@viciousviscosity Right now it's a mix of Folk Punk and Electro. I'm hoping to find inspiration for a future music project.
@viciousviscosity Technically what's playing currently is Do You, by Freeland but I'm building a playlist and I have no idea what it's going to look like.

Which means finding a way to feed microphone input into a pedal to fuck around with it first.
But the gist of this is that I've been really inspired by the work that Mick Gordon did on the Doom Soundtrack, and I kind of want to toy with feeding actual acoustic input into a series of analog machines to distort and manipulate the sound on the fly.
I've got so many goddamned projects.
I'm thinking of building a rig to distort and manipulate mic input on the fly. Sort of like an effect pedal for a microphone.
All of the videos on acoustic distortion are acoustic-electric and it bothers me.
Seriously, this song is basically the entire reason I wanna learn banjo.

we've come far, haven't we?
Hmm. Is it crazy to think about "natural technology"? That is, to view thing like the sun and the earth as a sort of premade technology, and factor our use of and reliance upon it into our models of civilization? :/
hey printing a card of a woman whose literal entire mechanical and flavor identity is to fetch a more famous dude sucks
