Well, ice set a date to delete my Facebook, giving people who give a shit time to contact me. But I doubt most of them give a shit.
i need to build up a dossier of credible articles that clearly show why it is important to leave platforms like birdsite, fb, ig, etc.
does anyone know of a possible collection of such articles (or links to) that I could use as part of presentation that would clearly show people why joining Mastodon and boycotting the corporate-based social networks is necessary?

My gripe with promoting Mastodon in the #deleteFacebook context is that Mastodon isn't really designed for Facebook's use-cases; it's designed for Twitter's use-cases (and to some extent Instagram's?).
Over at Aardwolf, we're trying to design something for Facebook's use-cases, but it's really slow going, and I'm frustrated at not having anything to show while Facebook melts down.
