if you have a pet cat; isn't it often then whichever way round where the cat doesn't manage to dig its claws into and unravel the whole lot (I've seen comments on pet care websites suggesting a change of direction can stop such misbehaviour, although I also suspect some cats may be smart/devious enough to try both directions or strong/long pawed enough to get enough momentum to cause the roll to spin whichever direction is used..
@Sylvhem I do have a cat, but she doesn’t really mess with the toilet paper or anything
@theycallmemo @Sylvhem she is a good catte then (and/or well looked after with more positive activities to occupy herself), it is apparently quite difficult to get them out of the habit if they do start doing it...
