I already regret making my root partition only 10Go. Between LaTeX and my dual 32/64-bits architecture (thanks videogames) I'm almost out of space.
@Sylvhem that's quite dirty but you can move stuff out of it in another partition and do a symlink to solve that
@bram Yes, that's kinda ugly :s.
@Sylvhem Antoher option if you can create another partition (maybe after resizing a non critical partition) , is to create a new mountpoint, for e.g. "/usr/share".
