Doctor Who Afficher plus
@vi I was thinking you didn't like it?
@Sylvhem I can get behind yelling AAAHHH! about it though
@vi He, he ^^. I'm curious though. Why don't you like it?
@vi Wow, I'm happy to read that because we seem to think the *exact* same thing about Moffat :O. Right now, it's a bit late for me to talk about all this stuff, especially in English, but if you don't mind, I will be really to talk with you about it an other day :3. I really need to talk to someone who dislike Moffat work as much as I do.
Frankly, I really loved this episode but it was *despite* all of that. But I have to admit I almost grimaced when Bill asked « What is a Cybermen ? ». The Doctor stopped a big Cybermen invasion on Earth only two years ago 🤦.
@Sylvhem also it bugs me that they seemed to be setting up for Bill to have to deal with a regeneration but then had no payoff for it; the Doctor started doing the fake-out regeneration in front of her and he mentioned regenerating but didn't explain when she queried it, but now Bill's gone and he's going to regenerate without her there. Like what was the point.
@Sylvhem Maybe this episode could have stood well on its own, but it just seemed like an inferior version of things Moffat had done before.
The two Masters together should have been great, but I didn't think it was as good as Ten and Eleven being together in "The Day of the Doctor".
One showing up at the end wasn't as good as the introduction of the War Doctor at the end of "The Name of the Doctor" (which is one of my favourite scenes).
Bill's ending was very similar to Clara's ending (which I didn't like very much anyway). (Although I am glad Bill and Heather got a somewhat happy ending).
