@ozjimbob Perhaps it could be a good idea to open a separate account (on a different instance even) just to follow news bots, and then you could enjoy the silence on your main account and tune into the news feed when necessary.

As a news aggregator Twitter is still a better source than Mastodon, but private persons here are generally more warm-hearted, I feel. Much more fun to follow the federated timeline here than Twitter's retweet-and-like-timeline.

I need to find a 4 m x 20 cm satin ribbon/scarf (or some other ludicrously sensual material than satin, but hopefully machine washable anyway). I have some weird ideas about how I could wrap that around me and wear nothing else.

I sometimes (sometimes? hell, all the time!) wonder, how people can find drama everywhere. I see the world and all these social media platforms burning around me, and I just shrug *whatever*.

Is it just because I'm not a neurotypical? Can't be just that, I've seen aspies spiralling into fierce drama all the same.

I mean, can't other people just be without inflicting drama all the time about everything?
