Can anyone NOT from witches.town read this toot?
I don't know how it is with other servers, but public toots from witches.town don't seem to reach mastodon.social if they don't contain a mention.
Looks like witches.town is silenced there. 😕 Public toots without mentions from mastodon.social reach witches.town, though.
@nora is there some kind of witch hunt going on?
@nora a few days ago someone on another instance took some Aldi's words quite hard, after which witches.town was muted on that instance's fed timeline. But that instance was not mastodon.social. So either there has been some new reasons for this or the drama is still contagious. I'm not an expert on this issue though.

It would be good if someone else could confirm my discovery with mastodon.social or other servers, to be sure i'm not just doing somerhing wrong (even though i don't know what). 🤔
@Stoori I noticed that my public toots now arrived at mastodon.social. That's very weird as toots with mentions appear immediately.
@nora there is sometimes delay on federated timelines. Now that your toots arrived, there shouldn't be any reason to suspect muting. I don't know how the toots are polled between instances but it may very well be that mentions are forwarded at different times than general public toots.
@Stoori I'm aware of a possible delay. That's normal with decentralized networks. 🤔
Yes, it seems that toots with mentions are being delivered at different times (faster maybe).
Ok, so it seems that mastodon.social has not silenced witches.town. ☺️
