The look of the emoji that's showing up that I'm unsure where from or how it works reminds me of the "synthwave" trans flag I made back in April, cuz of the dark stripe in the middle:

(Looks like masto is cutting off the majority of the blue stripes in the preview!)

So I decided that I wanted to change the world generation method for my *single player* modded minecraft world, and the best way to do this, absent of a server.properties file, was to nbt-edit the level.dat to the new way, then delete all unwanted chunks in MCEdit. There was very little documentation and info on how to do this >_>

On the bright side, it seems to have worked!

I'm actually starting to understand ffmpeg I think. Soon I too will become video encoding software, as the ancient curse is passed down as said in the legends!

For comparison, it takes 1m8.294s to convert all those frames to 1080p, 0m52.077s to encode them into a VP9 webm, and 0m7.170s to transcode that webm to HEVC mkv.

(Resizing done with imagemagick's mogrify, and encoding and transcoding done with the very spawn of the underworld itself, ffmpeg)
