So I decided that I wanted to change the world generation method for my *single player* modded minecraft world, and the best way to do this, absent of a server.properties file, was to nbt-edit the level.dat to the new way, then delete all unwanted chunks in MCEdit. There was very little documentation and info on how to do this >_>

On the bright side, it seems to have worked!

@lizardsquid Yeah, I def agree, the higher numbers are generally better, more interesting concepts imo as well. (Moreso than "scary monster that kills you!!!")

Also yes, I'm the same but with the "old man" SCP from the first series, that picture also makes me jump no matter how many times I've accidentally seen it >_>

@numimyon @jk iirc Mint is manged by a different group than Ubuntu? (Ie: not Canonical), but it is based on ubuntu's code, if that's what you mean? (Iirc, again)

@jk Fedora is good and I like the mix of stability and software from this decade (looking at you debian). Plus dnf is a real nice package manager.

Also, iirc mint is kiiiiinda lackluster about security? I remember reading about that but idk if the issues are still standing, but if you really like the mint interface there's prolly an ubuntu or fedora spin that's similar?
