A reminder that you should read The Last Angel by Proximal Flame, it's a story about the last human starship AI and her 2000 year long hunt for revenge. There are also lesbians.

It's *really* really good and it's probably my favorite piece of fiction ever, surpassing even FreeSpace 2: Blue Planet 2: War In Heaven!
@GlitchyDragon I've never read Ancillary Justice (tho it is on my to-read list!) but yeah this is really really good imo!!! Gonna make a followup CW post of what I remember in a sec
CWs include, but aren't necessarily limited to: Minor medical, torture (mental and physical), Mind fuckery on a grand scale, institutional oppression on a species-wide scale, some gore, harsh language, interpersonal drama in some cases, a sense of melancholy and fear and loss in some places.
(Trying to be as comprehensive as possible here, but I might be misremembering, forgetting, or over-focusing on something!)
On, and death, lots of death >_>
Plus "traditional" (not sure how else to describe) horror elements in the first several chapters.
Also if anyone does start reading it and needs to know the outcome of a certain aspect of the plot, feel free to DM (a DM to avoid spoilers for others, tho I suppose a CW'd post would work just as well aha) me details and what you'd like spoiled ^^
(This may be a weird thing to say but I sometimes get so hung up on what might happen in stories that it's hard to continue, if that makes sense)
@StarshipAmelia that reminds me quite a lot of Ancillary Justice, which I love.
