Until there's a viable cryptocurrency with a fair distribution model that isn't so inherently tipped in favour of the wealthy and nouveau riche (early adopters), I think it is morally wrong to support or use them unless you have little choice.

As it stands, they're mostly speculative instruments anyway, not real money.

"Distributed" doesn't mean good. A bad and unjust distributed system is not made just by being distributed.
