some bot is going around the Internet signing my mother's email address up for every account on every website ever with randomly generated names, causing an endless flood of international e-mail verification and welcome messages.
time for a new email address, I guess?? how do you even deal with that.

just make up a new +alias and blacklist the old one. (yes, the empty alias.)
@SoniEx2 it doesn't look like that works. 🤔 there is no way to create a filter for a non-alias, at least in gmail. plus the whole thing is lagging to all heck thanks to all the spam pouring in like a waterfall.
