@DarckCrystale That's true I'd rather they locked it to github contributors but we both know that's not gonna happen. :/ (We'd probably see a huge influx of github contributors if that happened, too.)

@SoniEx2 I think they keep it open to be able to welcome newcomers who don't understand well the federation part. Most of my friends on this instance tried it, then switch to an instance that suits them most *after* some days of try and a better understanding of the system :)
