Hello witches. Any recommandations for good comics ? I like complex or psycological stories, fantasy, absurd humor and strong female leads. Not all criterias are required. Thanks a lot o/
(boost appreciated)
@Sheinicorn Monstress by Marjorie Liu. Any comics written by Gail Simone
@Sheinicorn I'd say Pretty Deadly !
(Dark) Fantasy in a Far West setting, with multiple interesting female char (and leads).
Probably not a comics with a mind blowing scenario, but it's really rich, and metaphorically charged. Sounds like a fable sometimes.
The art is one of it's kind, intense and evocative !
It can feel kinda weird i guess, but it's different and worth at least a try :)
@munsh thanks a lot, i'll give it a go :)
@Sheinicorn anything by Bastien Vivès, if available in a language you can read.
@Sheinicorn Saga for something really dark and heavy, Lumberjanes for something light and happy.
@Sheinicorn

I love Papergirls:

Think Terminator meets Stranger Things and they fight a giant tardigrade!
Saga is excellent also:

Also written by Brian Vaughn, same writer as Papergirls and I really love Fiona Staples' art.
My all time favorite comic is Blacksad:

Not a female lead, but the art is exquisite, and the stories are complex.
@Sheinicorn Sandman by Neil Gaiman.
