@cassolotl Is there any benefit from seeing yellow without a checkmark instead of red? You could just let the app 'read' whitelist preferences automatically.

And for the yellow-without-checkmark/red thing, hm, this is a good point. I guess the AFK interaction badges are just pieces of paper in a plastic wallet on a lanyard around your neck and you have to say to a human "you're on my yellow list, you can talk to me when I'm on yellow" - but for an app it can be smarter.

@cassolotl yeah, I've just read your tumblr post, and I think there could be some smart things an app could do, like automatically decay a badge if it's been up for a while. It might also be possible for the app to read notifications to be able to tell when you last spoke to a person. There's many possibilities that paper badges don't have ^^
